How to manually add audience members to a cohort via file upload

Influ2 enables you to add contacts to a cohort in two ways:

  1. Sync contacts from your CRM based on criteria you select 
  2. Upload contacts manually from a spreadsheet

This article is about option #2, manual upload. 

Note: Importing audiences via file upload requires activation by your customer success manager. Contact them to enable this feature for your account.

How to import an audience file into Influ2

1. While logged into the Influ2 platform, under the Cohorts tab, click Create cohort.

Note: To add users to an existing Cohort, click the 3 dots and select Edit cohort.

2. Give your cohort a name, map it to a journey, and (optionally) add a reach limit.

3. Next to Include, click Add audience and select Import from the drop-down.

4. Click the Select values box and click Upload audience.

Note: If you've previously added a list, you can select it here instead of uploading it again.

5. Drop your file or browse for it on your device. 

Note required fields: First Name, Last Name, Buying Group.

Note: We recommend you give your files clear and descriptive names before uploading them so they are easy to locate and work with down the road.

6. Map your fields from the file upload; once they're ready, click Next.

7. You have one last chance to review, edit, and then Submit your custom audience.
