Salesforce offers a report named ‘Opportunities’ that allows you to export deal details that are required by Influ2 for precise revenue reporting. This section guides you through exporting opportunities details from Salesforce.
1. Log into your Salesforce dashboard and click ‘Reports’ in the top menu.
2. Click the ‘New Report’ button.
3. Now you need to build an Opportunity report that leverages Opportunity History data for grouping. In the new window, go to ‘Opportunities -> Opportunity history’ and click the ‘Start report’ button.
4. Ensure that the following filters are applied:
- Filter: select ‘All Opportunities’.
- Time range: choose the desired date range for your opportunities.
- Export options: select 'Include Any' to include all opportunities in a file regardless of their status.
5. Make sure the report contains the following fields:
- Opportunity name
- To Stage
- From Stage
- Amount
- Last Modified
- Owner
- Opportunity ID
- Account name
- Opportunity Record Type (or a custom field that you use to define pipelines)
6. Press ‘Run’.
7. Press the arrow and the ‘Export’ button. We recommend you to export your report in the XLSX format.
