How to set up Slack channel notifications

Influ2 can send engagement notifications directly to your Slack channel, informing your team in real time. This is achieved through Webhook URLs, which enable seamless integration. Setting up these notifications can be done via custom integrations functionality or the Slack app, providing flexibility based on your workflow preferences.

How to set up Slack notifications via custom integrations

1. Go to the Slack App Directory and log in to your account.

2. Navigate to Manage, then select Custom Integrations.

3. Choose Incoming WebHooks.

4. Click Add to Slack.

5. Select an existing or create a new channel where you'd like to receive notifications. You can make it public or private.

6. Click Add Incoming WebHooks integration.

7. In the Integration Settings, copy the generated Webhook URL for your channel.

8. Under Customize Name, enter "Influ2".

9. Click Save Settings.

10. Share the Webhook URL with your Implementation or Customer Success Manager
