How to add content to a journey stage
1. Go to the Cohorts Section in your dashboard.
2. Select the Cohort where you want to add new content.
3. Click the “+” icon in front of the desired Journey Stage.
4. Choose the content you want to add and click “Launch.”
Optional: Set a Stop Date
- To run content until a specific date, select a Stop Date before launching.
- Click Launch to save and apply your changes.
If you need to make changes to content running in a cohort, you can either Pause or Archive it.
How to pause content
Pausing is ideal when you want to:
- Temporarily replace existing content (e.g., for a short-term campaign or event promotion).
- Quickly switch to new ads while keeping the existing content available for future use.
Steps to Pause and Replace Content:
- Assign New Content First:
- Upload and assign the new content to the desired cohort or journey stage.
- Allow the new content to complete moderation (typically 1–2 days).
- Pause the Existing Content:
- Go to the specific Journey Stage in the cohort.
- Click the ⋮ (three-dot menu) next to the content you want to pause.
- Select “Pause.”
Important Notes:
- Always assign and wait for new content to go live before pausing the old content to avoid ad delivery interruptions.
- Moderation Time: 1–2 days on average.
- Best Practice: Ensure the new content is active before pausing the current content.
Steps to Activate Paused Content:
- Go to the specific Journey Stage in the cohort.
- Click the ⋮ (three-dot menu) next to the content you want to archive.
- Select “Activate.”
How to archive content
Archiving is recommended when:
- Content has a low CTR or has been running for several months.
- You want to avoid creative fatigue and permanently remove the content from the cohort.
Steps to Archive Content:
- Go to the specific Journey Stage in the cohort.
- Click the ⋮ (three-dot menu) next to the content you want to archive.
- Select “Archive.”
What Happens When You Archive Content?
- The content is removed from the cohort view.
- To view archived content, click “Show Archived Content” on the cohort page.
- You can review the details of archived content by selecting it.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage content within cohorts and optimize your ad performance.
