What is the Target Report?

The Target Report shows a detailed, visual breakdown of how each contact (target) has engaged with your contact-level ads. It also helps you understand how that target has helped generate, progress, and win deals as part of a buying group.

You can refer to this report to understand the influence of your marketing and what you can do to drive better results.

To access the Target Report, go to the Influence Dashboard and click the name of a target

The first section in the Target Report gives you details about the contact, including:

  • Photo (if they have one) and Name
  • Buying group; you can click the buying group name to access the Buying Group Report. 
  • The CRM(s) that their data came from; click the icon to go to their profile on the CRM
  • Contact owner
  • Impressions and Clicks that Influ2 delivered to the target during the specified timeframe 

Sales Priority

This section provides information about the need for sales outreach based one at least one of the following: 

  • The target has been prioritized by marketing for sales outreach, or
  • The target has been prioritized by engaging with your ad (15+ views or 1+ click)

It is is based on data from the Sales Priorities Report.

  • If the block is teal: The target has been prioritized for outreach within the last 2 days
  • If the block is yellow: The target has been prioritized for outreach within the last 3-7 days
  • If the block is pink: The target has been prioritized for outreach within the last 8+ days 

In the block, you can see the prioritization date, prioritization reason, status, and the content that led to prioritization.

This block allows you to check what content the target has recently viewed and how it's performing. You can see the image, ad title, ad description, and landing page URL.

You can also view the cohorts and stages where the content is currently active. 

On the right, you'll see clicks and impressions for each piece of content.

Engagement timeline

The Engagement timeline helps you understand how you have influenced this target throughout the entire targeting period — and whether it eventually led to an opportunity being generated, progressed, or won. 

Clicked: The target engaged with an ad by clicking on it.

  • Grey: The target engaged with the ad but did not influence an opportunity

  • Teal or Yellow: The target engaged with the ad and generated, influenced, or progressed an opportunity 

Viewed X ads – The target engaged with an ad by seeing it at least 15 times.

  • Grey: The target engaged with the ad but did not influence an opportunity

  • Teal or Yellow: The target engaged with the ad and generated, influenced, or progressed an opportunity 

Outreach activity: The target has been outreached by your sales team. Talk to your Customer Success Manager to define outreach activities.

Moved : The target moved from one stage to another within a cohort.

Prioritized: The target has been prioritized for outreach after engaging with content or a marketing request.

In the timeline, you can also see if the target’s buying group has a meeting booked, or if an opportunity was generated, progressed, or won—and whether you influenced that opportunity.

Meeting booked: Your team has booked a meeting with the buying group of this target. You can see if you influenced this meeting booking by engaging the target. If the target’s recent engagements are yellow, well done! You influenced the meeting booking. 

Opportunity created: A new opportunity was opened with this target’s buying group. You can see if you influenced this opportunity creation by checking recent engagements. If recent engagements are yellow, well done! You influenced the opportunity creation. 

Opportunity progression: There was a movement from one stage of the opportunity funnel to the next. You can see if you influenced this opportunity progression by checking recent engagements. If they are colored teal, well done! You influenced opportunity progression. 

Opportunity Won: An opportunity was won with this target’s buying group. You can see if you influenced this deal won by checking recent engagements. If recent engagements are colored purple, well done! You influenced this closed-won deal. 

Associated opportunities 

On the right side of the Target Report, you can see if there are any opportunities associated with the target’s buying group and the progress toward a closed-won deal. Influ2 uses the same color coding throughout the product:

  • Yellow: Influence on deal generation
  • Teal: Influence on deal progression
  • Purple: Influence on deal won

To dive deeper into the data, click on a stage in the opportunities section. It will filter the area to the left with details about that stages that this target influenced.
